The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s Policy Centre in Seoul today co-hosted, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (RoK), its signature ‘Seoul Debates’ discussion on the topic of ‘Development Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange: Taking Stock and Moving Forward’.
The video illustrates how, today, USPC facilitates global knowledge exchange by sharing the development experiences of the Republic of Korea with partner countries around the world through its SDG Partnerships in the areas governance, resilience and development cooperation.
For 10 years the Seoul Centre has been facilitating knowledge exchange - knowledge that is mainly based on the RoK’s own development experiences. There is a high demand for this knowledge in many regions of the world, especially for the more recent experiences.
In commemoration of the Republic of Korea’s 30 years as a member of the United Nations, UNDP Seoul Policy Centre (USPC) co-organized a High-Level Forum on the “Future of Multilateralism and the Role of the ROK” on 22 October, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UN organizations, funds, and programmes operating in the Republic of Korea.
